The Nov. 17 concert will be at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 499 Wacouta St., St. Paul, home of The Family Place, a day shelter for homeless families and the Nov. 18 concert will be 4 p.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd, Hopkins.

A Place Called Home is a concert that expresses hope for all of us as we come together to understand and value all people, especially those trapped in homelessness. It is timely as the community response to the Hiawatha homeless encampment and the Wilder Foundation's October survey of homeless in Minnesota heighten visibility and urgency of the challenges of homelessness.
This concert is timely as community awareness and response to homeless encampments near Cathedral Hill in St. Paul and along Hiawatha Avenue in Minneapolis, as well as the Wilder Foundation's October survey of homeless in Minnesota, heighten the urgency of the challenges of homelessness.
